唐天寶貞元21年最澄將天臺山茶種帶回日本
Zuicheng Brought the Tiantaishan Tea Seeds Back to Japan in the 21st Year of the Tianbao reign in the Tang Dynasty
唐天寶13年(公元754年),鑒真和尚東渡日本,帶去飲茶之道,距今已有1260多年。
唐貞元21年(公元804年),日本最澄和尚奉詔入唐求法,歸國時(shí)將浙江天臺山茶種帶回日本,也將茶飲引入宮廷,受日本皇室喜愛,飲茶之風(fēng)逐步向民間普及。距今有1200多年。
南宋時(shí),日本榮西禪師兩次來華,回日本時(shí)帶去茶種,在寺院種植,并大力宣傳茶飲,寫出《吃茶養(yǎng)生記》呈獻(xiàn)給鐮倉幕府,自此上層階級喜愛茶,飲茶風(fēng)行,榮西被尊為日本“茶祖”。
In the 13th year of Tianbao in the Tang Dynasty (754 AD), Monk Jianzhen went to Japan, bringing tea drinking art to Japan, which happened more than 1,260 years ago.
In the 21st year of the Zhenyuan reign in the Tang Dynasty (804 AD), Monk Zuicheng came to China from Japan for Buddha Dharma and brought back tea seeds from Tiantai Mountain of Zhejiang Province in China, as well as the tea drinking art, which was loved by the royal family immediately and then spreader to common people gradually. That happened more than 1,200 years ago.
In the South Song Dynasty, the Japanese Zen Master Rongxi came to China twice, brought back tea seeds and planted them in the temple. He also promoted tea drinking vigorously. He wrote Drinking for Health and presented to the Kamakura Shogunate. Since then, tea drinking became popular in the upper class. Rongxi is honored as the “the Father of Tea " of Japan.
朝鮮《三國本紀(jì)》卷十:“興德王三年(公元528年)十二日,入唐回使大廉持茶種子來,王使植于地理山(今智異山)”。這是朝鮮引種茶樹的開始,距今1490多年。
In Volume 10 of Korea’s Three Kingdoms, it reads that on the 12th day of the year of King Xingde (528 AD), Emissary Dalian brought back tea seeds from the Tang Dynasty, which were planted in Dili Mountain (now Mount Jiri). This is the beginning of tea tree planting in Korea, dating back more than 1490 years.
明時(shí),通過鄭和下西洋,茶葉傳入非洲。
In the Ming Dynasty, tea was introduced to Africa through Zheng He’s voyages to the West.
